Our Facilities |

Our Motherhouse |
|
 |
Our Motherhouse or Central House as we also call
it, is located at 1127 Pembroke St. W., Pembroke,
Ontario. It is built on fourteen acres of land bordering
on the Ottawa River. This facility houses our Health
Care Center and our General Administration offices
in addition to being home to many of our Sisters and
the central gathering place for the whole Congregation.

retreats or days of recollection |

An auditorium and meeting room for programs
and gatherings |

A very beautiful Chapel which overlooks the
Ottawa River. Our Chapel is open to persons from
the surrounding area for religious services, or
private reflection and prayer |

An efficient network of telephone services,
enabling better communication and contacts for
retired Sisters |

A gardening project which provides fresh flowers
and some vegetables |

Beautiful and spacious grounds for quiet walks
and times in Nature |

Stillpoint House
of Prayer |

This special house of prayer is located on the
Madawaska River in the countryside near Calabogie,
Ontario. It provides five completely equipped private
rooms for persons coming for a retreat or for days
of recollection, renewal, or rest. The grounds are
very spacious, beautifully landscaped, and are inviting
for walks or time spent out in Nature. There are also
trails for long walks, and swimming in the river is
available during the summer months.
An atmosphere of silence, prayer, and seclusion
pervades the whole complex as well as the grounds.
There is a chapel, and also a well-equipped library
of books, tapes, and videos. Our resident staff provides
hospitality as well as spiritual direction for the
guests who come from many different faith traditions |
